Aston Martin Rapide has a hand-built 6.0-liter V12 produces 470 hp / min (477 hp / 350 kW) with peak power at 6000 rpm and 600 Nm (443 lbft) at 5000 rev / min delivered torque. A specially tuned six-speed Touchtronic 2 offers the standard automatic transmission allows the driver to change gear automatically or manually via the steering column-mounted magnesium paddles. Aston Martin Rapide is the platform, which together already the backbone of the Aston Martin V / H architecture developed.

The Aston Martin Rapide is a practical family car with an internal high, and it offers endless possibilities for adaptation by the acclaimed artisan Aston Martin. Inspired from the high level of detail in the leather armchair fashion decision milled aluminum mesh speaker and metal door strips hand, the interior has also celebrated Bang &  Olufsen sound system. Two DVD screens built into the front seats provide entertainment for the rear passengers, giving them the possibility to watch a movie or create their own soundtrack to accompany the unit.

The first deliveries of the Aston Martin Rapide will begin in early 2010 and is used worldwide in the dealer network of Aston Martin.
