The New 2011 Audi A6 Avant | Official Details, Photos and Videos

The next generation of Audi A6 Avant has been launched in Europe. The customers can choose from 6 engines, 2 gasoline and 4 diesels. Compared to the previous version, the 2011 Audi A6 Avant is 18% more fuel efficient, the 2.0 TDI consuming only 5 L of fuel per 100 km. The top of the line is represented by the new 3.0 TDI engine, available in 3 variants : generating 204 hp, 245 hp and 313 hp. The speed of 100 km/h is reached in 5.4 secs and the top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. Depending on the engine, a 6-speed manual, a 7-speed S tronic and 8-speed tiptronic will be coupled.

The new 2011 Audi A6 Avant measures 4.93 M lenght, offering a luggage compartment capacity of 1.680 L. The weight of the car has been reduced by 70 KG, thanks to the aluminum components which represents 20% of the car's body.

Inside, Audi A6 features a head-up display, adaptive light with variable headlight range control, front seats with ventilation and massage function, and numerous infotainment components. Topping the range of infotainment options are the hard drive-based navigation system MMI navigation plus and the Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System. The car has also a Wi-Fi hotspot, allowing the passengers to browse the web free.

2011 Audi A6 will go on sale in Europe this summer and it will have a price tag of 40.850 euros.
