The new 2011 Audi A8 L revealed

2011 Audi A8 L was revealed today by Audi. Being the stretched and range-topping model in the Audi A8 line-up, the A8 L is scheduled to debut in United States in the coming months. 2011 Audi A8 L is powered by a 6.3 L W12 engine, offering 373kW and 625Nm of torque. According to Audi Space Frame aluminium body, officials says that Audi A8 L is 40% lighter than a comparable steel body. 2011 Audi A8 L reach 100 km/h in only 4.9 seconds but it has a electronically-limited top speed of only 250 km/h.

The power from the engine is transferred to all 4 wheels through Audi's new 8-speed automatic transmission and the quattro AWD system. 130mm longer than the already 2011 A8, the A8 L is measuring nearly 5267mm long and its wheelbase has grown to 3122mm. Inside the A8 L, potential customers will be delighted with the full-lenght center console, each rear seat offering reclining control, along with cushion depth settings, lumbar support and back/forward movement.

A full 25 motors manage the A8 L's four-zone climate control, and a 1400w 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, along with two 10.2-inch LCD displays, provide entertainment for rear occupants. The W12 engine will be the standard powertrain when the A8 L launches overseas this year, with smaller diesel and petrol engines to follow in the future. Prices have yet to be revealed, and local details are as yet unknown.
