The german tuner, Tuningwerk added a ECU remap, modified the turbochargers and cooling system, added a brand new exhaust system, all this boosting the power up to 521 horse power and 614 Nm of torque. BMW 1M Coupe tuned by Tuningwerk can reach a top speed of 300 km/h. A new braking system was also added, as an option, customers can choose a 370 m disc made from carbon fiber. The hood and boot was replaced with lighter parts made from carbon fiber. BMW 1M Coupe runs on ATS 19" rims wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx 245/35 R 19 tires.

Regarding the engine, it delivers a total output of 381 horse power between 4.000 and 4.4000 rpm., with a maximum torque of 546 lb.-ft. between 2.000 and 3.000 rpm.
