2012 Chevrolet Sonic | Z-Spec Accessories

2012 Chevrolet Sonic Z-Spec package Chevrolet launched the Z-Spec accessories for the 2012 Sonic! Chevrolet Sonic Z-Spec will be presented at NYIAS (New York International Auto Show), equipped with a 1.4 L turbo engine. Rick Scheidt, Vice President Chevrolet Marketing : "The new Z-Spec accessories reinforce Sonic’s fun, youthful spirit. Customization is particularly important with the customers we believe will gravitate toward the Sonic, and we want to help them make their vehicle look exactly the way they want as easily as possible."

The Z-Spec package includes contrasting mirror caps and roof spoiler, contrasting upper and lower grille surrounds and a body graphics package. Sonic Z-Spec runs on 16" and 17" alloys.

Inside, the packaged addes sport pedals made from aluminum.

Rick Scheidt, Vice President Chevrolet Marketing : "Sonic is a great canvas for customization, and Z-Spec offers a cohesive design with a family of factory-engineered accessories and graphics.

The package elements can be purchased individually or as a complete upgrade. As an option, the customers can purchase chrome mirror caps, door handles, cargo nets and trunk trays. In the future additional grapgics will be available.

2012 Chevrolet Sonic is available in 2 body style, a 4-door sedan and 5-door. The 1.4 L Ecotec engine generates 138 HP and 200 Nm of torque and the second engine, the 1.8L is coupled to a 5-speed manual or 6-speed auto gearbox generating 135 HP and 167 Nm of torque.
