Production version of Chevrolet Orlando revealed

Chevrolet OrlandoUpdated! Chevrolet Orlando video added! Ahead of it's official debut at this years Mondial de l'Automobile in Paris this September, the production version of Chevrolet Orlando has been unveiled! Chevrolet Orlando will compete with cars like Opel Zafira and Mazda 5, and it will enter in the assembly line in October, but it will be available for customers starting 2011. The bad news is that the company has no plans to seel the Orlando in United States. BUT! It will be available in Canada.

 

 

 

The new Orlando keeps the prototype details like the roof-line from the 1st Orlando saw back in 2008 at the Paris Motor Show, shares the same Delta platform, used also in the Cruze and Astra family. Chevrolet Orlando comes with a 1.8 L petrol engine developing 141 horse power and a 2.0 L turbo-diesel engine, generating 131 horse power and 163 horse power.

President and Managing Director of Chevrolet Europe : "We're confident the Orlando not only brings great value for money to the MPV class but also something fresh - function with attitude if you like - and the opportunity for us to continue building our volume across Europe. I believe it will also bring more new customers to the Chevrolet brand."
