 On the occasion of the commercial launch of the Fiat New Panda, the model’s range presents an extremely interesting new development: the previous version will continue to be sold under the name Panda Classic. Available starting today in Italy, France, Hungary and Spain, and later to become available in the other European countries, the car is destined to take command of the low segment A since it offers customers accessibility to handy features and a moderate price. Launched in 2003 and sold in 76 countries around the world, the second series of the Fiat Panda has won over a growing leadership position in its market segment. In 2011 alone it captured 38% of the market, proving that it is the best-selling segment A car in Italy. And with its 15.7% share, it has also proven to be Europe’s best-selling city car. Backed up by this roaring success, today the Fiat Panda Classic offer has been rationalised to give customers a significant benefit.

 To mark 150 years of Italy's unification, FIAT decided to release a special Punto edition. To distinguish the Fiat Punto 150° Special Edition from other models, FIAT added bespoke honeycomb grille, 2-tone distinctive live-weight alloys wheels and a special metallic paintwork. "Italia 150" badges are placed arpund the B-pillars.

 The new arrival, which will go on sale in UK next spring, is a consistent evolution of a highly successful city car that has always been a by-word for functional design, manoeuvrability, space, reliability and comfort. While still remaining true to its compact design brief, new Panda has ‘grown’ by just a few centimetres to ensure the attainment of the highest safety standards, and improve the generous level of passenger and luggage space still further. With an overall length of 365cm, width of 164cm and height of 155cm, new Panda can comfortably accommodate up to five people and is equipped with one of the largest luggage compartments in its segment. Panda was the first car in its market segment (A), to win the prestigious Car of the Year award (in 2004). It was the first compact (less than four metres in length) to feature a diesel engine (1986), and it was the first to offer both four-wheel drive (1983) and a range of eco-friendly engines designed to limit fuel consumption. (Panda Elettra, introduced in 1990, was one of the first electric cars).

The 695 Tributo, which takes Abarth’s direct competition links to a new level, is one of the most eye-catching models the brand builds. And there will be plenty of chances to view the car, as it features in the supercar parade throughout the Festival of Speed.

 The new FIAT 500 Cabrio was released in the US market. The 500 Cabrio features a dual-layer cloth-top that retracts at a push of a button. Three soft-top colors are available, 14 exterior colors, 12 unique seat color and choice of two interior environments to allow customers to personalize “their own” Fiat 500 Cabrio.
