India gets 1.6 L Punto and Linea

Fiat India is expanding the range of Fiat by adding the Punto and Linea 1.6 diesel engines by July this year. Vice President of Fiat India said : "We have been getting a lot of requests from consumers asking for the Linea 1.6. Keeping that demand in mind, we will be launching the same in July. We would also be introducing Punto Sports sometime that period although work is still on the same and so any exact timeline is difficult." It is known that Fiat is working on new models for the Indian market, but this year indians will only see variants of the existing models of Punto and Linea.
