MotorImpress.com learned that Hyundai is working on a 4-door coupe of the i40 sedan, as a competitor to Volkswagen Passat CC. The production version will be inspired by the i-flow HED-7 Hybrid Concept. Hyundai officials says : "Hyundai is keen to move into different areas of the market and sell cars that appeal to the heart as well as the head, cars that show more emotion. This could be the model that starts us on that path." In UK, it will come with a 1.7 L engine generating between 115 horse power and 140 horse power. Other markets will get a 1.6 gasoline model. The debut is expected in 2012.
