Nissan LeafNissan LEAF will be sold in Belgium at 36.990 euros including VAT, but with gov subsidies and incentives, the price can be low as 27.800 euros. This way, Nissan LEAF will have a price about the same as a diesel of hybrid car, but with low running costs. In Belgium, the running costs are estimated at less than 1.5 euros per 100 km. The battery price is included, VAT and 5-year or 100.000 km warranty, 5-year subscription to unique telematic service and EV specific roadside assistance also.

The combination of zero emissions, ultra low driving costs and the practicality of the family sized car will appeal to many Belgian customers."

The order process will require to deposit a fully-refundable 300 euros, customers making reservations through the website (nissan.be) will be the 1st to receive their LEAF.

Nissan LEAF deliveires have begun in United Kingdom, Netherlands, Ireland and Portugal and order books opened in Switzerland, France and Spain.

Nissan LEAF is powered by a Nissan-developed compact electric motor, the AC developing 80 kW and 280 Nm of torque, enough power to take the car to a max speed of 145 km/h.

On the features list customers will find air conditioning, satelite navigation and a parking camera. A quick charge socket offered as standard, allowing the battery to be charged at 80% of its capacity in 30 minutes.
