The New Nissan Micra DIG-S Turbo with fewer CO2 Emissions will be launched at 2011 Geneva Motor Show

Nissan Micra Dig SNissan Micra DIG-S Turbo emits only 95 g/km CO2 emissions and has one of the cleanest petrol engines in the world. To achieve that, a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder unit is fitted with a supercharger and direct injection. This mechanism is coupled to a manual gearbox or a CVT automatic. Miller cycle is used with a peak output of 98 horse power and 142 Nm (105 lb-ft) of torque and the engineers states that is par with a conventional 1.5 L 4-cylinder unit. The 13:1 compression ratio that increases combustion efficiency, the reduced heat, friction and pumping losses can be possible thanks to fewer moving parts, and advanced engine management systems with Start/Stop feature and energy regeneration capabilities are other technical highlights.

The top speed for Nissan Super Clean Micra DIG-S Turbo is 180 km/h and estimated fuel consumption is 4.1 L/100 km combined cycle with 95 g/km of CO2. Nissan Super Clean Micra DIG-S Turbo with CO2 Emissions of just 95 g/km can exempt from road tax and other congestion charges and customers can benefit from further tax breaks and governmental incentives but this is different in every country.

Nissan will launche the new model of Micra with fewer CO2 Emissions at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show but new model can be purchased this summer. The new model will be available in a 5-doors body style, 3 trim levels. A 80 horse power 1.2 L engine will be offered as well.
