On 7th of June, Vauxhall (Opel) will release full details about the GTC Paris. Vauxhall (Opel) Astra GTC will be introduced to the world on 15th September at Frankfurt Motor Show.

The "Unlimited" version of the Opel Insignia is equipped with an engine generating 325 horse power, coupled to a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox. The maximum speed of 270 km/h is electronically-limited. Alain Visser, Vice President Sales, Marketing and Aftersales at Adam Opel AG : "We are responding to frequently expressed customer wishes. Opel (Vauxhall) Astra 2.0 CDTi Hatch now is equipped with Start/Stop system, low CO2 emissions and a fuel consumption improved from 57.6 MPG to 62.8 MPG in comparison with the standard Astra 2.0 CDTi Hatch. Regarding the CO2 level, it dropped from 129 g/km to 110 g/km. Astra Sports Tourer also gets the Start/Stop, offering from 55.4 MPG to 60.1 MPG. The engines used run more quietly and effcient thanks to the reduced friction camshaft bearings.

The new Design Edition comes with a high-gloss black roof, tinted headlamps with AFL adaptive lighting, fog lamps, deep tinted and thermally insulated rear windows. To give Opel Meriva Design Edition's a more distinctive and sporty look, bi-color 18" alloys were added. 5 paintjobs will be available : 1) Casablanca; 2) White; 3) Magma Red; 4) Technical grey; 5) Star Silver. The price tag of the new Meriva Design Edition will start from 19.570 euros.
