I have been driving around in rubbish cars all of my life. IU have always been someone who lives a hand to mouth existence. I don’t mean that I have no money, I just mean that I tend to spend whatever I get! This means that it is difficult to save up enough money to be able to buy a brand new car, and I normally end up buying some rust bucket for £500 which will get me from a to b for about a year before it falls apart.

This has been fine for a few years, but I have got to the stage in my life where I want something reasonably smart to drive around in. I’ve looked into a few possibilities, but buying new is not an option. I wouldn’t even consider hire purchase, because the initial down payment is normally thousands. I was beginning to give up hope of finding a solution until I came across the idea of contract hire.

I found a great site which had some really nice cars available. I would be able to get a brand new family car with a deposit of about £700 and monthly payments of about £250. That was the sort of money I could lay my hands on! I didn’t hesitate and got in touch straight away. I managed to broker a deal for a very nice looking Ford Focus which was the sporty but economical TDCi.

I couldn’t believe my luck – I was finally going to have a car to drive around in that I wasn’t embarrassed to be seen in!
