The new Porsche Panamera will be powered by a 3.6 L direct injection engine, the same that will be installed on the next Cayenne, producing no more than 300 horse power and 295 lb-ft of torque. Officials say that this new version is 30 kg lighter than the V8 in the curent Panamera S. It will get the PDK transmission and the engine's start/stop sytem.

The new Porsche Panamera can be seen starting this June in dealers showrooms, wearing a price tag of $74.000 for the standard Panamera, and $78.900 for the Panamera S.
