Porsche will launch a new version of GT3 R Hybrid at Nürburgring 24 hour race

Porsche has announced it will be participate on June 25 at Nürburgring 24 hour race with a new version of GT3 R Hybrid racecar. Based on the 2010 model, the new model of Porche GT3 R Hybrid V2.0 comes with a optimized hybrid system. Also, Porsche engineers said that the vehicle's curb weight was reduced to 1300 kg from 1350. Porsche GT3 R Hybrid V2.0 has two electric motors installed on the car's front axle and the power is provided by a 470 HP 4.0 L engine, with 200 horsepower more than original GT3 R Hybrid. Porsche expects that the new car will run with less fuel, extending time between pit stops at Nürburgring 24 hour race.
