The new Volkswagen Caddy BiFuel
Volkswagen Caddy is now ofered with a gas-powered engine, reducing the CO2 emission by 10% and fuel costs too. Volkswagen Caddy BiFuel can be easily switched from petrol to gas (and viceversa). On bivalent drive, the 1.6 L 4-cylinder engine delivers 102 horse power and has a fuel consumption of 10 L of autogas per 100 km. In full petrol mode, the Volkswagen Caddy BiFuel consumes 8 L of fuel and emits 187 g of CO2.
In pure LPG mode, the car has a driving range of 460 km. Compared to aftermarket Autogas systems, the factory-installed solution offers distinct advantages: the vehicle has been subjected to extensive durability tests, and it has been crash tested with its fuel tank and is therefore very safe; the vehicle is also fully covered by warranty, including all gas components. The new Caddy BiFuel ordering begins very soon. Naturally, the Volkswagen Caddy BiFuel is also available as a Caddy Maxi.
