Volkswagen Golf GTI - Excessive conceptVolkswagen has also released today details about their 2010 Volkswagen Golf GTI Excessive Concept that will be also showcased at the Worthersee Tour 2010. The GTI Excessive is only at a concept level and was built to demonstrate the design potential of the new generation Golf. The 2010 Volkswagen Golf GTI Excessive Concept comes with a full body kit that consists of a front splitter under the front apron, side skirts, a new rear diffuser with an integrated splitter and 30 mm wider wheel arches. The aerodynamics package also includes a new rear spoiler painted in the body color with integrated LED brake lights along its full width.

Thanks to the wider wheel arches, Volkswagen was able to equip this car with a new set of black 19″ BBS lightweight wheels that go really well with the body’s black piano gloss finish. Through these wheels we can see new brake calipers that feature the GTI & Worthersee 2010 logos. Inside, the 2010 Volkswagen Golf GTI Excessive Concept features brushed aluminum trim with elements painted in glossy black, new sport seats and black and red Nappa leather.

Volkswagen hasn’t announced yet if the upgrades received by this concept could form a new sport package for the 2010 Volkswagen Golf but if it will receive great feedback it might happen.
